Sam Pavel moved out to San Diego to continue his schooling in music. Little did he know he would meet a small crazy Iranian girl with blue hair during his first week in California. Kayla walked in the percussion studio during band camp where she did not expect to see a stranger. After hearing his story, she invited him to try his very first California burrito. a couple days later they had their first date which ended in Sam breaking his roommates TV. Kayla was impressed by how calm he was handling the situation and the rest was history! A few years later Sam graduated from school and moved back home to Wisconsin and they began their long distance era. It was difficult, but they pushed through it with all their strength. He eventually got a job in San Luis Obisbo where he would drive down to San Diego almost every weekend to see Kayla. Then it became her time to continue her studies and luckily that moved them back to Wisconsin where they began their life together and adopted their beautiful Asali. They are beyond excited to begin this next chapter in their lives after 8 years of loving each other. They cannot wait to share this experience with all their friends and family near and far.
