Our love story started the same way many modern-day romances do — we both swiped right. With a recommendation from a mutual friend, the first date was set after a few light exchanges and a LinkedIn search. We met at Mr. Paul's Supper Club, where the conversation was easy — and enhanced after our server upsold Will on a bottle of nice wine. On our third date, we booked a trip to Washington, D.C. There, we grew closer as we explored the sights and indulged in the local nightlife. We both realized we were compatible travel partners, and not only matched each other’s energy but pushed it — a scary thought for anyone who knows us well. From there, our lives became intertwined: meeting friends, family, and always being the other’s plus-one at the many weddings we attended. In 2023, Will moved in with Rachel at her Loring Park apartment. We both loved living downtown but quickly outgrew the lofted studio. While looking for a new place to live in fall of 2023, we decided to buy a house — truly beginning our future together. The next phase of our relationship was set in motion on New Year’s Eve 2023. We were at a friend’s party, making lighthearted predictions for the new year when Will boldly declared, “Rachel will be engaged this year!” The year flew by, with Rachel waiting patiently (and attending many manicure appointments). In true Will fashion, he proposed in the nick of time — on December 27, 2024. Now, there was a wedding to plan — but a more important matter arose: we adopted our beautiful puppy, Rhubarb. We eventually got around to the planning, and that brings us to now. We are so excited to celebrate our love story with all our closest friends and family. Xoxo Will and Rachel
