Do I need a passport?

Answer

We highly recommend you get a passport prior to the cruise. If you would like to get off the ship at any of our port of call destinations it will be required to reboard the ship. Also it is best to have your passport incase of an emergency and you would need to leave the cruise early.

How Do I Get A Passport?

You can apply for a passport in person or online at travel.state.gov Places to apply in person - Please call ahead as they are by appointments only Manitowoc Post Office- 920-682-6659 Kiel Post Office- 920-894-2345 Chilton Post Office-920-849-2651 Brown County Clerks Office- 920-448-4016 When applying online please fill out form DS-11 unless you are applying for a minor under the age of 16 then please fill out form DS-3035 Current processing times are 7-10 weeks. You can expedite the process for an additional $60 which would lower your wait time to 3-5 weeks.

Do I need a mariner's number

Yes. This number is specifically for Holland American Cruise Lines. This number is necessary before you can booking anything with Holland America Cruise Lines. Holland Cruise Lines offers a referral program. If you follow the link below it will help you create a mariners number and an account with Holland America which you will need to schedule your cruise. If you follow this direct link it will get you a $50 on board credit to use while on the ship. It will also get Cody and I a $50 credit to use on board as well. Does Holland America offer Military, Medical, First responders and Educator discounts?

Do Any of these Services/Professions apply to you or those in your stateroom? Holland America Line offers an additional $100 on board spending money. Before you can apply for these offerings you will need a mariners number. Please visit each individual website to fill out the information for the applicable appreciation. Last step for all of the above Once you receive your Congratulations/Verification email(s) for any and/all of the above associations forward only and all the verification(s) you have received from SheerID Verification.
