Matron of Honor
Michelle is Ashley's little sister and has been incredibly supportive of Ashley throughout her whole life. She has never felt the need to not tell Ashley the truth and Ashley trusts her judgement completely. Ashley doesn't know where she'd be without Michelle by her side.
Best Man
Alfred and Zach grew up down the street from each other and have been thick as thieves and best friends since Zach's family moved to Columbus in September 1996. A true forever friend, Alfred has been there for Zach at every turn even when they haven't lived in the same city. He has extended that level of friendship to Ashley as well.
Bridesmaid
Study-Abroad classmates, college roommates, and best friends, April and Ashley get along like sisters (#werelikethesameperson). Upon first meeting Zach, April's initial reaction was "Oh My God, I love him!" to which Ashley replied "Me too!" Since then, April has been involved in picking out the ring and in general, cheerleading Ashley and Zach's love story.
Groomswoman
Maggie is Zach's little sister, and the two have communicated on another level for a long time. Their parents have ceased trying to understand their conversations in German, random noises, and pointed looks. Ashley introduced Maggie to her now favorite podcast, leading Maggie to now talk to Ashley more than Zach!
Bridesmaid
Yes, she shares the same last name with the groom, but don't let it confuse you! Sydney is Ashley's cousin who, when asked for a fun fact, responded, "I can say the alphabet backwards! That's kind of fun." A sophomore at Ohio University, Sydney is a Health Services Administration major with a minor in business and enjoys being a member of Alpha Xi Delta. Being around Sydney makes everyone happy, plain and simple.
Groomsman
Ashley's little brother and one of the photographers of the engagement, Ben will be graduating from his architecture program at the University of Cincinnati in April of 2020. He is hilarious and supportive and Ashley and Zach are excited to have him as part of the wedding party.
Bridesmaid
The 'M' in JAM, Maggie met Ashley on their first day of 3rd grade at Valley Vista Elementary. Ashley was assigned to show Maggie around the playground (and did so, poorly - forgetting many of the rules), but they became fast friends and have remained close for over 18 years!
Groomsman
Mitchell and Zach met in college as Freshmen playing saxophones in the University of Cincinnati Bearcat Bands. Even though they are fans of different teams, Zach and Mitch found they shared a love for baseball and have traveled the country attending games as part of their similar bucket list goals.
Bridesmaid
The 'J' in JAM, Jenny and Ashley also met on the first day of 3rd grade at Valley Vista, embarrassingly wearing the same outfit in different colors. Luckily, third graders see that as a bonding moment, and Jenny and Ashley have been close friends now for over 18 years!
Groomsman
Tyler works with Zach and Ashley at RoviSys, and has the dubious honor of sharing a cube with Zach for the past several years. Zach and Tyer have bonded over their mutual annoyance of noisy neighbors and mutual love of fitting as many computer monitors into their cube as possible. Maybe as a wedding gift Tyler will let Zach take a spin at the wheel of his beloved Porsche.
Bridesmaid
Sam and Ashley met while playing the board game Quelf on the lawn as University of Dayton freshmen. They became roommates their sophomore year and have stayed friends despite living on opposites sides of the state after graduating. Every time they visit now, it's as if no time has passed and they're back in Sam's RA room playing The Sims while talking and laughing about life.
Groomsman
Zach and Kai met in Kindergarten and have remained friends since. Late nights playing Medal of Honor or Basement Rush as part of Friday Night Club are the glue in this friendship. Kai was the first of Zach's friends to meet Ashley, and she immediately got his stamp of approval.
Officiant
Lance is one of the only people to know both Ashley and Zach separately before they started dating. He and Ashley were in marching band together at North Royalton High School, and he and Zach met at work before Ashley accepted her offer at RoviSys. He's a great coworker and friend and Ashley and Zach are honored to have him be the one to marry them.
