What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. Women should wear cocktail dresses, and men should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be outdoors! The ceremony will take place in an uncovered garden area and the cocktail hour will be on the uncovered patio. The reception, however, will be under a covered tent. Plan to wear sunscreen or bring a fan, should it be a particularly hot and sunny day!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Virginia in June is typically hot, but not sweltering like it can be in July and August.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from both the Cavalier Hotel and the Holiday Inn. Please arrive to the buses by 4:00 PM! For all others not staying at these hotels, please meet at the Holiday Inn to board the buses. Buses will provide transportation to the after party and both hotels following the reception.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Yes! There is parking available at the Hermitage for those who wish to drive.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love you and we love your kids! However, we ask that only adults join us for all parts of the wedding.

Answer

Please send in all RSVPs by May 23rd at the latest!
