Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Hope Quinn and Chris Paulson
For those not familiar with Minneapolis, there's so much to do in this outdoorsy, artsy town! You’re never farther than 6 blocks away from a park; a city surrounded by nature. Known as The Land of 10,000 Lakes, Minnesota has more shoreline than California, Florida, and Hawaii combined. Here are just a few of our favorite locations around the Cities!

Punch Pizza Lake Street

3226 West Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN 55416

Punch is a staple in our household as well as the location of one of our first dates! Start at Punch and take a walk around Lake Bde Maka Ska.

Guthrie Theater

818 South 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55415

If you have time, go see whatever show is running. World-class theatre in an exceptional venue with an observation deck that overlooks the Mississippi River!

Minneapolis Farmers Market

312 East Lyndale Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55405

Visit our massive downtown farmers’ market the morning of the wedding, which is adjacent to our venue! Winter hours are 9am to 12pm but check their website for the most up to date information. No dogs allowed.

Mall of America®

60 East Broadway, Bloomington, MN 55425

You have to see it at least once…America's largest indoor mall.

North Loop

Minneapolis, MN

A very walkable area with FANTASTIC restaurants. Some notable favorites include: Spoon and Stable Bar La Grassa - the pasta mecca of Minneapolis Black Sheep Pizza - coal-fired and oh so delicious Borough and Parlour - go to Parlour for the cocktails, but also get a taste of their famous Parlour burger

Theodore Wirth Regional Park

1301 Theodore Wirth Parkway, Golden Valley, MN 55422

Theodore Wirth Regional Park is the largest park in the Minneapolis park system with over 740 acres of land. Located West of Downtown Minneapolis with stunning biking and hiking trails.

Minnehaha Falls

Minneapolis, MN 55417

Minnehaha Falls is one of the oldest sights in Minneapolis. The crash of the water and the cool air rising from the basin, contrasted by an urban atmosphere makes it one of the most popular destinations in the city. Peer over the ledge from the top of the 53-foot waterfall or take the staircase down to the bottom and explore from a different angle.

Stone Arch Bridge

100 Portland Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Iconic Minneapolis bridge for pictures and walks!

Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

725 Vineland Place, Minneapolis, MN 55403

Location of the famous Spoonbridge and Cherry!

Chain Of Lakes

Minneapolis, MN

Try out the "Chain of Lakes", which is the shorelines of Brownie Lake, Cedar Lake, Lake of the Isles, Bde Maka Ska, and Lake Harriet (including the trails connecting them and Lyndale Park).
