We met through our mutual friends and became close because of our shared love for music. We were in a band together. Somewhere between band rehearsals and late night 7-11 runs, that's when we knew - it's a start of something new.

It was his birthday celebration and somehow, I didn't realize something was up - everyone was there! When it was time for him to give his "birthday speech" someone asked, "What are you most thankful for?" Honestly, I doubt we would remember what exactly was said, except that I said "Yes!"
