Taylor and Pauline met in high school and had mutual friends, but never considered each other friends or hung out together. For the curious people out there.. feelings were mutual and they had crushes on each other for a split second at a high school party where they had their first kiss in 2013 and then didn't talk again for 5 years. Both went to different colleges in different states, but the only interaction they had during those years was through likes on social media. Fast forward to 2018.. Taylor graduated college and one bored night at home he decided to swipe right on Pauline and ended up matching on Tinder. A few corny pickup lines later, Pauline agreed to their first date for drinks and dinner at End of Elm in Morristown.. and the rest is history!
Let's take a moment to appreciate Taylor's hard work and the amazing job he did arranging the proposal! The day took place on June 14, 2022 when he took Pauline to RH Rooftop in Chelsea NYC. The dinner was delicious, the experience was amazing, and Pauline had no idea what was about to happen a couple hours later. They took a walk down to Little Island, which was down the street from the restaurant. The park had breathtaking views of New York City and Hoboken. After strolling for a few minutes, they stopped to appreciate the sunset and Taylor bent down on one knee and asked Pauline to spend the rest of her life with him. Not gonna lie, Pauline blacked out for a few minutes while in tears of joy. But of course she said yes, with the most memorable moment being caught on camera by the talented photographer, Nicolas Manassi. The day following the engagement, they celebrated with yet another surprise from Taylor and both families!
