Mitch & Pauline's Story
In the mid-90s, Mitch & Pauline met at Dutch Ned’s, a lively bar in Pioneer Square. Mitch, a charming bartender, loved live bands, crossword puzzles, & crafting cocktails. He often flirted with the ladies, but one woman always eluded him. Pauline, wild & fiercely independent, shared his love for live music & occasionally danced on the bar. Mitch secretly admired her.
Their connection was instant—a strong friendship, not love at first sight. They spent hours debating music & life over cheap beer. Mitch admired Pauline's intelligence; she adored his humor. Many speculated they might end up together, but life had other plans.
For 25 years, they lost touch until the Fall of 2018 where friendship & love rekindled.
One night, after a joke left her breathless, she realized she had fallen hopelessly in love with him. Mitch could not stop thinking about her; her laughter & blue-eyed twinkle lingered in his thoughts, & every moment apart felt like a countdown until he could see her again.
