Alfredo is often described as a gentle giant. The eldest of four sons, he is extremely close to his family. They immigrated to the US from Cuba when Alfredo was in elementary school. His easy smile and willingness to always lend a hand have made him a much loved member of the Spy Museum staff for over 10 years. As a network administrator on the IT team, you may find him helping to onboard new staffers or wrangling cords on the roof before an event. He’s happy to do it all. He enjoys being a part of the Spy family almost as much as he enjoys motor sports, a good beer or hanging out with his beloved pets. While Alfredo's family is quite small, he has enjoyed becoming a part of Pauline's large African brood.
Pauline’s friends describe her as “the creative one”. That creativity is evident across all aspects of her life; from the way she’s styled their home to how she expresses her love to friends and family. She does it all in her own signature way and always with a smile. She is known for her green thumb, love of nature and animals, eclectic style and advocacy. Pauline has spent her career caring for families and turned her passion for interior design into a business, PKCole Design. Pauline lives, laughs and loves like no other, unapologetically. While Pauline was born in America, her family immigrated to the US from Liberia in the early 90’s during their civil war. She is family-oriented, deeply values her relationships with loved ones and looks forward to welcoming Alfredo’s family into the fold.
Like most millennial couples, Pauline and Alfredo originally connected online. They crossed paths two years prior to their first date after liking each others profiles. Soon after, Pauline checked out of the online dating world. When she decided to give the apps a second chance, Alfredo saw her profile. He remebered the cute girl in the lime green skirt and once again decided to reach out. The timing was perfect and the connection nearly instant. They’ve been competing to see who can make the other laugh the hardest, chasing chickens and improvising songs together ever since.
