We met junior year of highschool (Go Hornets!) we were in the same homeroom for years and hadn't ever met! One morning in homeroom, Vince got in trouble for playing cards and was in "time out". When Mrs. Warmen asked the class if he should be released, Paulina said Yes, look how cute he is! The rest, as they say, is history. We graduated high school together, carpooled back and forth from Gainesville together, traveled to Italy together, watched each other graduate from college, lived together for the first time in St Petersburg in 2016 and then moved across the country to Portland, Oregon in July 2017! We have been together for over 8 years and are thrilled to spend our 9th year celebrating with our friends and family. March 2019 could not come soon enough!

We always joke about how old our souls are. For years we went on "Vince & Paulina" dates, roaming the grounds of Leu Gardens for hours or going to Epcot every chance we could. In December 2018, we traveled home to spend Christmas with our families. We knew we wanted to go to one of our classic spots and decided on Leu Gardens one morning. After frantically trying to lead us away from the 5 year old with the loud Buzz Lightyear toy, Vince finally found a quite spot underneath a gazebo at the Rose garden. He got down on one knee and then we were engaged! We celebrated that night with our families and friends. December 22nd was absolutely one of the best days of our lives <3
