As you all may know, our history goes way back. We don't really know when we first met but it must have been at one of the G de la T's summertime cookouts. The truth is, we were both there all along not knowing one day we would be here planning our wedding. Although technically we met years ago, when ever someone asks how we met... we say at a wedding in Mexico, which is a whole story in itself!

One Sunday morning Rashid said the 4 little words that make Paulina's face light up.. Lets go to brunch! We went to our favorite spot, Grill 309. During brunch we were having a great time, so much so that I didn't realize Rashid had been texting our family and coordinating the big moment. After brunch, Rashid smoothly suggested we go for a walk down Main Street. Not to his surprise I wanted to stop at every store I saw.. Meanwhile, our families were already anxiously waiting at the location. As fate has it, every store we tried to stop in was closed. As a last resort we decided to walk down to our LOVE sign where we went on our first date. As I walked down very unaware of what was happening, I didn't notice all the floating heads appearing behind trees and cars. As we were posing for a picture Rashid got down on one knee and proposed! That's when our families appeared and surprised me! BEST DAY EVER!
