We went here on the evening of our first date. The view of Manhattan is incredible! The park spans a quarter mile along the East River near the Williamsburg Bridge, at the Domino Sugar Refinery site. Needless to say, we had a blast!
Peter Pan Donut & Pastry Shop has been serving the community of Greenpoint, Brooklyn and beyond since the 1950s. Mike's favorite is the bacon, egg and cheese toasted on an everything bagel. Paulina's favorite is the toasted coconut donut. This place is amazing!
When thinking of New York, pizza comes to mind immediately! For anyone coming from out of town, we recommend this pizza spot in the neighborhood. Mike's favorite is the buffalo chicken slice and Paulina's favorite is the grandma. The employees told us that this pizza shop has been around for over 65 years!
This is the most authentic Mexican food to ever be stumbled upon in New York. Their portions are gigantic and the food is unbelievable. The homemade salsa that they provide with each meal is almost as close to Mike's heart as Paulina is.
We are Polish, so there must be pierogis! Pierozek has the best pierogis in the neighborhood, hands down.
If you’re a beer lover, this is the place to visit in Williamsburg, Brooklyn! The Brooklyn Brewery was one of New York’s first post-prohibition craft breweries starting in 1988.
