We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Our story began long ago, 12 years to be exact, when we were both just a couple of kids in high school. We met at the start of our senior year. I was what you would say a good girl, pretty nerdy and he was the typical cool skater boy. Was it love at first sight? Absolutely not. The first time we met was after school and my friend Elisa and I tagged along with our friend Kevin to go hang out with his friends for a bit. Kevin introduced us and Anthony politely shook my hand. I remember some guys approached him to play a game of SKATE which he declined a couple of times before finally agreeing to play but you could tell he wasn’t into it, as if he thought he was too good to play with them. I remember thinking he was kind of a jerk, a show off and pretty cocky. Totally not my type. And that was it, I didn’t see him until a couple months later until Senior Ditch Day. I had planned to ditch school with my Elisa and Kevin, little did I know that Kevin had invited Anthony along as well. As we were walking towards Kevin’s car, I saw Anthony sitting in the passengers seat. I thought, “Ughh this guy, what is he doing here?..”. But he was already there so what was I going to do about it. We ended up heading to this place we call “the rocks” which is pretty cool place to go hiking or rock climbing. Since we hadn’t planned to go there of course I was wearing flats, which of course are pretty slippery and not good for climbing. Anthony was pretty nice and was trying to help me climb up on parts I was too scared to climb. I realized that maybe I had formed the wrong opinion about him. The whole day he had been friendly and nice. He even added me as a friend on Myspace later that day. After that day we began talking everyday and shortly after he asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course at the time I thought we’d only be dating for the rest of our senior year seeing that school would be over in a couple of months but now here we are 12 years later along with our beautiful babygirl.

We started dating in high school as seniors. We’d been on many exiting adventures together, parties, hiking, sight seeing, traveling, road trips, concerts and trying so many new experiences together. Ten years later through the good and bad times I finally decided that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with the woman of my dreams. A woman that makes you into a man and sticks around through the worst of times and the best of times. I can’t really remember when I finally decided to propose. I was kinda scared because I still lived with my parents and didn’t really have money saved up, so I didn’t know where we were gonna live if we got married. One day after work I was driving back home on the freeway and I said f*** it I’m going to go buy a ring. Next thing you know the same day I went to her house because I knew she wasn’t there and I asked her parents for her hand in marriage. I knew she was a fan of the bands called Hombres G and Enanitos Verde, so we got tickets to go see them. We both like this song called Te Quiero by Hombres G and I thought it would be the perfect moment. That day I went to the concert with my ring in my pocket which was really uncomfortable due to it stabbing my leg. Finally the song came up and I got on my knee and proposed. The people around us noticed me proposing and they started cheering us on. It was the perfect proposal in my eyes.
