Manitou Incline The Manitou Incline is a very steep, high-altitude climb with over 2,700 steps and nearly 2,000 feet of elevation gain. Most visitors take 1–2 hours to reach the top, and it can be especially challenging for those not acclimated to Colorado’s elevation. Winter conditions may include snow and ice—please avoid the trail if conditions are unsafe. At the top, hikers are rewarded with sweeping mountain and city views. Red Rock Canyon Open Space For a more relaxed alternative, Red Rock Canyon Open Space offers easy to moderate hiking with beautiful red rock formations, wide-open views, and well-marked trails. It’s a great option for guests who want to enjoy Colorado scenery at a more leisurely pace without the intense climb.
