Paulette was at the airport before her long flight back to California just to learn that her flight was cancelled. Marco was getting ready to leave home for a company dinner with colleagues. One serendipitous evening lead the pair to each other- neither expected what was to come afterward. Over a year of daily messaging and day-long video calls, Marco visited Paulette on a trip where they both fell deeply for each other. Following her heart, Paulette moved to Copenhagen to be with Marco where the two have lived for the past 4 years. They got engaged in June 2021 at Egeskov Castle, a beautiful and unforgettable surprise for Paulette.
