Moving around
I recommend using Uber/Lyft/Waymo as transportation method because parking in the city can be a little complicated and expensive. Most hotels have parking fees not included in room rent and to get around every parking charges. Everything is fairly close in the city, no more than 15 min. The only thing "distant" would be the airport which is 23min. If you want an idea of where’s everything situated, go to the things to do section where you will find a map. ——— Recomiendo usar Uber/Lyft/Waymo como método de transporte. Estacionarse en la ciudad, el tráfico y las inclinaciones de las calles pueden ser un poco complicadas además de caro. Mayoría de los hoteles en la ciudad tienen un costo por estacionamiento, no incluido en el costo por habitación. Todos las atracciones o lo más común de ver estar relativamente cerca, no más de 15 min. Lo único distante es el aeropuerto que queda a 23min de la ciudad como tal. Si quieres una idea más amplia dirígete a la pestaña de “things to do” y puedes ver el mapa.

Moving around
Additional to Lyft and Uber, there are also public transportation system with busses and metro available. Both MUNI and BART provide these services. If going more outside of the city BART is the way to go because within the city has limited amount of routes, while inbound in the city MUNI system offers more routes. MUNI has a $5 all day ticket to take both busses and metro. If choosing to explore this alternative, we recommend metro over busses (less crowded and cleaner). The busses are labeled with numbers while metros are labeled with letters. --------- Adiconal a Lyft o Uber, existe sistema de transporte público con guaguas y metro. Quienes proveen este servicio es MUNI y BART. Si vas fuera de la ciudad BART es la manera de ir ya que esta ofrece rutas más limitadas dentro de la ciudad, mientras que si te quedas en la ciudad MUNI provee más rutas. MUNI ofrece una tarifa diaria de $5 dólares donde te montas en cualquiera de las guaguas o los metro cuantas veces desees en ese día. De tomar esta alternativa, recomendamos más los metro que las guaguas ya que son más limpias y menos gente. Las guaguas se distinguen por tener números, mientras que los metro tienen letras.

BRING A JACKET
Most of us come from Puerto Rico. It's a VERY different weather, it can be sunny and nice during the day, but can get windy. I suggest to bring a jacket/coat to stay comfortable. I’ll update weather information as time comes, it should range from 50s to 60s plus wind effect which can make it colder. —— La mayoría de nosotros somos o vienen de Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, es BIEN diferente el clima, puede estar soleado en la mañana pero con brisa , y en la tarde frío. Recomiendo traer un abrigo, chaqueta o “coat” para estar cómodos. Las temperaturas rondan de 50-66°F adicional al viento lo cual puede hacer sentir más el frío.
