The marching arts is what brought us together. Having worked in South Florida at various High Schools, we were lucky enough to cross paths and our stars aligned at the right time in our lives. We both taught at Park Vista High School in 2017. One day during camp, the staff were given lunch packs from Panera Bread and I noticed David did not get a cookie in his pack. I kindly shared mine, and David ate the whole thing, leaving me with nothing. The rest is history.

Our "Anniversary Couples Photoshoot" in Chicago, was when he popped the question. David played it off that he wasn't ready to ask me just yet... then SURPRISE!
