Wedding Party

Our special family and friends that have a very special place in our hearts - Thank you for celebrating with us!

Yeaeun Ahn

Maid of Honor

Having a sister as my only sibling made picking my Maid of Honor very easy! Although she will always be the crazy younger sister that I always have to worry about and that causes all kinds of trouble, Yeaeun has also become my closest friend throughout the hardships of adulthood, and I am so happy to see how our relationship has grown over the years. I'm so grateful to celebrate this moment of my life with her by my side!

Shawn Shin

Best Man

I met Shawn when we were 13, and he was the person I would’ve been if I had chosen to be a rebel at weekend Korean school. It’s been over a decade now, and he’s become the person I depend on for advice on many aspects of life, most of which involves financial literacy. A dynamic friendship that keeps us on our toes with hours of hard thought and intense exchanges over important topics, such as “Shawn, it’s been two years, I don’t think Rolex still has you on their waitlist.”

Jane Kim

Bridesmaid

I was very excited when Paul first told me he had a younger sister around my own sister's age, but also very worried that we wouldn't get along. However, in the few times we were able to meet, Jane has made it so easy to feel like a part of the family - and sometimes in our LOOONG conversations, it just feels like I'm chatting with a close, longtime friend! I'm so happy to have met another sister to travel with, cafe-hop with, and just do life with!

Jae Kim

Groomsman

Jae was the first college classmate to invite me to lunch after class, and it became a weekly occurrence; Thursday lunches meant Sbarro Pizza with Jae. There’s been big transitions in our lives since we met at 18, and I’ve come to experience Jae’s instinct to put his friends and family first. I am proud of the strong loyalty we share for each other and – unlike the Sbarro Pizza we would frequent – that our friendship has been open and thriving until now.

Minju "Piehole" Kim

Bridesmaid

Family friend? Honestly, at this point, "Piehole" just feels like family! For those who do not know yet, "Piehole" is a nickname that, Minju, my sister Yeaeun, and I made as kids. Unfortunately, her nickname is the only one that has still stuck to this day! From making omelets and playing mediator when my sister and I fought as kids, writing postcards for us both in college, and now traveling together as adults, "Piehole" is the older sister that I've always wanted. I'm so grateful for you everyday, and so happy to celebrate this moment together!

Paul Kang

Groomsman

It’s always a strange feeling to meet someone who shares your name – sure, we share a name, but do we share anything else? With Paul, the answer is yes, but I don’t think I can ever do justice in outlining the natural bond that ties us together. He’s been the adventurous spirit in my life that’s added so much color to my life, and I’m excited to have him join me as I experience the most vibrant milestone of my life.

Tiffany Tsou

Master of Ceremonies

Tiffany is probably one of my first best friends - going on 14 years of friendship this 2022. You were my inspiration to apply for a STEM high school, and continue to be my support in the midst of my career change. Thanks for being the dependable friend that not only offered an ear to listen, but solutions that have ultimately made a difference!

Jiyoung Chang

Honor Attendant

Jiyoung was probably the first NEW friend I made when we moved up to high school. She is one of the most talented and passionate people I know. How you excel in work, but also don't hold back in play amazes me every time. You bring the life to the party girl - so thanks for being there to bring the F.U.N. on my wedding day!

Merry Chen

Honor Attendant

Since the moment she fixed the grammar on the Christmas card I gave her in middle school (LOL), Merry has been the friend who challenges me to be a better version of myself. In the craziness of adulting, our deep conversations played a big part in shaping my core values today. Thanks for being a nonjudgemental friend no matter what crazy stories I bring up!

Yoonji Eum

Honor Attendant

Despite her own busy work/school life, Yoonji surprises me by remembering little details from our conversations and gifting me items that I brought up. She has the most contagious laugh, and we've definitely had several times where we've gotten looks from laughing too hard in public. Thanks for being the fun-loving friend during the good times, and a loyal one during the tough times!

Yun Jeon

Honor Attendant

We always laugh thinking back to elementary school, when our moms wanted us to be friends and would pack a birthday gift for each other every year, but I guess their efforts weren't for nothing! Yun's bright and optimistic attitude makes ANY activity enjoyable - even exercising at the park (LOL). Thanks for reminding me to enjoy life even when I'm having a hard day!

Kathleen Park

Honor Attendant

Kathleen is one of my oldest friends and continues to be a loyal friend to this day. Even with long-distance friendships in college and adulthood, you have always found ways to reach out to me for chats, calls, and hangouts. I'm always thankful for your proactivity in our friendship and am so glad that you will be here on my special day!
