Yes, we know the invite says the 19th...
It was God's work that brought us together. Both members of Bumble, Sarah and Paul would have never come up in each other's search if Paul wasn't working in the area that day. Sarah didn't meet the distance parameters that were set for Paul's search. After connecting, Paul and Sarah messaged back and forth all day. After Paul "checked" all the boxes, Sarah boldly insisted she was free that night. Their first date was at Bandito's in West Dundee. They ended up crashing a 60th Birthday Party on the back patio, and got offered cake several times. At the end of the night, Paul asked for Sarah's phone number and gave her a hug (yes, a hug). Both of them knew that something really special had happened that night.
After spending the night before wrapping presents, Sarah and Paul slept in on Christmas Eve. They reveled in waking up together and snuggling. Once they rolled out of bed, Paul made coffee and they took a seat on the couch. If you know the couple well, they often express their emotions, love, and appreciation for each other. This morning was no different. Sitting there, Paul shirtless and Sarah pants-less, Paul began to intensify, slowly sliding off the couch onto his knees. Holding hands, they shared an intimate conversation. At the peak of the conversation, Paul pulled out the ring and asked Sarah if she would marry him. Spoiler alert, she said "Yes!". They enjoyed the high of the moment. Then, Paul joked about giving Sarah an out, "No life-changing decisions should be made before coffee". He let her know if she changed her mind afterward, to let him know.
