Do you have a venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be at The Simmons House in Water Valley (about 20 mins from Oxford) and are so excited.

So the wedding is in Water Valley? Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a block of rooms booked at the Towne Suites Marriott in Oxford or you can contact Jeri-Anne Davis about renting a room in Water Valley. More info on our travel page!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Fun and fancy! Wear comfy shoes to dance in but feel free to get sparkly. Is cocktail attire-adjacent a thing? If you are worried about your outfit, ask the bride or MOH, we got you :) *Please don't wear white. Don't be that guy.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our venue asks that you do not arrive until 45 mins before the "ceremony" (it's gonna be real short y'all).

What's the etiquette on gifts since y'all are already technically married?

Answer

An excellent question! Gifts are welcome but not required. Obviously if you already got us a gift, you should not get us another one. We're just really excited to see everyone.

I want to attend but still have covid concerns...

Answer

Your health and safety should always come first. With the rise of the delta variant, we ask that you get vaccinated if possible for the sake of the children and immunocompromised people who are invited. Those who are not vaccinated must wear a mask to attend. The ceremony & reception will both be outdoors and we hope that by October things will be better, but there’s no way to tell. We’ll keep you posted as much as we can and stream the ceremony if necessary!

Will Jasper and Charles be at the wedding?!

Answer

While Charles obviously has the requisite manners for such an elegant event, he will be staying home in solidarity with the mannerless beast Jasper.
