Travel Note
From Omaha, driving is the easiest way to get to Breckenridge! It takes about 8 1/2 hours to get from Omaha to Breckenridge. If being on the road all day isn't your thing, flights from Omaha to Denver are available! From Denver International Airport you can rent a car and drive the rest of the way (about two hours) to Breckenridge. If you don't want to drive at all Colorado Mountain Express offers airport to hotel transportation for about $66 each way.
Travel Note
If you realize you've forgotten something or just want to stop and grab some snacks on the way into Breckenridge there are a few options. Driving to Breck, you'll exit I-70 at Silverthorne to head south. While passing by Silverthorne there is a Target (this one is for you, Sara) and a large outlet mall. Once you are headed south after exiting the interstate you'll pass through Frisco on the way to Breckenridge. Frisco has a Walmart, Whole Foods, and Natural Grocers for some more food options. Frisco also has a cute downtown area with shops and restaurants if you are looking for another little town to explore! Breckenridge does also have plenty of shops and restaurants but not a large chain grocer so it might be worth a stop in Silverthorne or Frisco on your way in.
