Question

I'm staying at Mansion Hill Inn, when can I check into my room?

Answer

Check in isn't until 4 pm, but you are welcome to leave your bags at the Inn prior to heading to the ceremony. The staff will gladly put your luggage in your room once your room is ready. There is also some parking available to guests staying at the Inn. Please check with Paul and Rhonda about a parking spot for you.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please refer to the 'Travel' tab for more details.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

BE AWARE, ALL STREETS BETWEEN CHURCH AND THE INN, ALL DIRECTIONS, ARE TORE UP FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION. There will be a tiny amount of parking at the ceremony, but it's first come first served. Ceremony and reception are one block apart, weather pending, park your car and leave it! Enjoy the walk. PARKING - Park on the streets, if you see any side streets not closed due to construction or use one of the close parking ramps such as Dayton/Pinckney Ramp, Capital Square Lot or the Capital Square North Garage, all within 2-3 blocks. You can also part at the bottom of the hill on N. Pinckney St., turn left into a parking lot that is just to the right of a large, brick apartment building. The parking lot wraps around to a lower tier -- please park down there. The Mansion Hill Inn has been using this lot on Saturday's without incident for the last 10 years, but please do keep in mind that the Mansion does not own this lot or have any jurisdiction over it, so it is park at your own risk.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

The majority of the menu is safe for individuals who are gluten and dairy free. All menu items will be labeled or handled by a server that is knowledgeable about the ingredients. There will be a variety of menu choices. If you are concerned about a food allergy, please let us know.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception are located both in beautiful venues from the 1860's. The atmosphere of the wedding will be very elegant and Victorian so the atmosphere will be very dressy but not black tie formal.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
