In 2019, Nichole moved from FL back to Raleigh, NC. In July 2021, she left her church of 4 years and started attending Providence in Raleigh. In March 2020, Paul had three choices on where he would live, he picked Raleigh, NC. He spent the summer of 21' in Moldova and returned back in August to start seminary. Paul came up to Nichole and introduced himself at a church event because she was late and looked lost. We didn't think much of it then, but he asked for her number. He thought she would be a good fit for the hospitality team. We served together on Sundays and chatted here and there when we could. Nichole invited Paul for a coffee to talk about missions and life overseas. We chatted about missions, and international living, and shared our stories. A couple weeks later Paul organized a group to hang at Drive Shack and extended an invite to Nichole. He brought his own clubs and tried to teach her how to golf. It was a great time together. Paul attempted to invite Nichole to the Art Museum, but Nichole always had a busy schedule and could never meet. A couple months later Paul invited Nichole to the Christmas lights and they finally got to hang out together. They began hanging out more and more. On February 15th, 2022 Paul asked Nichole to be his girlfriend and they've been together ever since. Their heart's desire is to fall more in love with Jesus each day, share the gospel with others, serve in the community, and leave this world better than they found it. One quote that has marked their life is this; "Everything else will pass but what is done for Christ will last"
