Getting to Telluride

We recommend flying into Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ), which is about a 1.5 hour drive to Telluride. If you are flying in from Houston, there is a daily direct United Airlines flight from IAH that arrives around mid-day. These flights have now been posted. If you are not flying in from Houston, or you want a bit more flexibility, there are multiple connecting flights through Denver (DEN). GETTING TO TELLURIDE FROM MTJ: Telluride Express and numerous other companies provide shuttle services between Telluride and Montrose-Telluride Airport (MTJ), as well as other surrounding regional airports. You must make advance reservations for the shuttle. There are no Ubers or Lyfts available. A rental car is not necessary if you plan to stay in the pedestrian-friendly, resort areas of Telluride and Mountain Village.

Lodging

You have a few different options when it comes to lodging in Telluride. Firstly, there are two sides of the mountain you can stay on, Mountain Village and Downtown Telluride. These are conveniently connected to one another by a free gondola (approx. 13 minute ride between the two). Our reception will take place in Mountain Village, but we do plan on continuing the party in Downtown Telluride after the reception! The gondola closes at 2AM on Fridays and Saturdays, however, so you can't go wrong either way. We've listed a few hotel options below. There are also plenty of Airbnbs or Vrbos available if that better suits your plans!
