There's no shortage of beaches in Carlsbad! Head West and you'll find the place Michelle spent many of her early days sunbathing at while growing up.
San Diego Zoo
While Paul isn't a huge fan of these types of places, Michelle spent her childhood visiting the zoo with her family. This is the place to go if you want to see pandas up close!
Carlsbad Premium Outlets
Shop til you drop! Fun fact: Michelle has worked at 2 stores in the outlets while in high school. No, she didn't enjoy working Retail.
LEGOLAND California Resort
If you have kids, they will like this place! Fun fact: Michelle's first job site was here.

A favorite date spot of ours in Encinitas. Follow up delicious pizza with the Self-Realization temple for a perfect day by the sea.
Flower Child
Healthy doesn't sacrifice taste here. Must Try Items: Yuzu Brussel Sprouts, Mac N Cheese & Forbidden Rice Bowl. This restaurant is located in Flower Hill Promenade, where the aesthetic is real and flowers are plentiful.
Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park
A personal favorite of Michelles, this place has wild roaming peacocks!
