Wedding of ...

We met at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. We met on our small campus but became friends through both being on the soccer teams. Paul won Marissa over by bringing her Mac and Cheese. During our Senior year, and everything being shut down, Paul started going to Marissa's apartment to have dinners together. Marissa did not win Paul over with her cooking, most times Paul would come over so he had a kitchen to cook with. In February of 2021 we began dating, coincidentally it was Valentines Day and the first day Marissa met his whole family. After we graduated from University of Maine at Presque Isle we were able to do a little travel to warm Paul up to meet the Valdivia's. In 2023 we finished building our first house together in Madison, Maine and graduated from Thomas College with our Masters. In August of 2023 Paul got Marissa a photoshoot to get couples pictures as a birthday gift. It took 3 tries, a storm and a broken car for him to finally be able to ask Marissa to Marry him. While we started our relationship in Maine, we are getting married in Marissa's hometown in the neighborhood of Magnolia. Our plan is after the wedding to stay out in Seattle for a few years before exploring different states. Our goal is to eventually move to Colorado. For our honeymoon, we plan to take a cruise in Europe on the Royal Caribbean to explore Spain and Italy. We are so excited to share this day with friends and family that mean a lot to us.
