If you are flying from Calgary, we recommend this route: Calgary-Houston-Bogota-Bucaramanga This route is the most efficient and can be done all at once or with a stay overnight in Bogota. If you are taking the flight all at once, you will have to take an overnight/red-eye flight. It is also recommended that you book the round trip from Bogota and then book the flights to Bucaramanga/Cartagena/Baranquilla separately (its a bit cheaper). The cost of this trip should be anywhere from $1100-$1600 including the internal flights (this would also depend on if you are going to Bucaramanga or Bucaramanga and Cartagena and/or Barranquilla). We are taking ground transportation to Barranquilla from Cartagena.

This is the recommended hotel for Bucaramanga. There is a slightly less expensive option as well as a slightly more expensive option, but this location/value/quality of hotel has proven to be best. The price per room should be around $110-$150 per night (includes breakfast).
