Paul and Lili met through mutual friends, although they had heard each other's names around town for years. The stage was set at a hole in the wall bar in Metamora, Paul was playing pool and Lili was watching from afar. Lots of awkward eye contact lead Paul to ask Lili why she looked like she wasn't having fun, and asked if she was hungry. He then offered to buy her a cheeseburger and the rest is history!
