Two swipes right brought us together! We decided to meet in Cincinnati with each of our best friends. We listened to live music, danced, and made some hilarious memories. I knew he was the one the first time we hugged! - Kylie Five Vodka-Lemonades down at Cincinnati's Taste of Belgium is where it all began. The family and I went there to eat before the FC Cincinnati game against English Premier League opposition, Crystal Palace. After the game was over, Hilario and I went downtown to our favorite bar, Tin Roof, where they always have live music and a fun atmosphere. That is where I set my eyes on the most beautiful woman in the world. We started talking with Kylie and Mallory and ended up going up to Mount Adams for dancing and more drinks (naturally)! After that night, I knew I had found someone special! - Paul
Not having my luggage, which contained the engagement ring, for a majority of the trip, I was getting a little worried. Kylie and I were returning from our amazing trip in Dundee, Scotland back to London and had a whole day of tours planned for the next day. When we got back, I immediately checked my newly arrived luggage for where I placed the ring and at first thought it was gone, before finding it buried in a corner. With time running out, I knew I had to decide where to propose before it was too late. So, on our day of tours, I brought the ring along, hoping that God would just show me a sign of where would be the best place to ask. Eventually, we ended up out at Stonehenge, the mysterious and historical rock configuration out in the countryside, where we decided we take the 20 minute walk from our bus to the stones. On our way back, I noticed a clear and distinct letter "Q" in the sky (see the "Q" photo in Photos section). THIS was the sign I was looking for! I asked Kylie what she thought the "Q" meant, and she, being so positive and optimistic, stated, "I bet the Queen is going to die or something." After a chuckle, I said, "I think it means it's time to pop the question," and I reached in my bag, pulled out the ring, got on one knee, and asked Kylie to marry me. I think we all know the answer she gave me...
