What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

While there is no specific dress code for the event, we recommend cocktail attire. We want our guests looking and feeling their best!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Well friends, Iowa can be tricky this time of year. It could either be 70 degrees, or there could be, dare we say it, snow on the ground. We recommend layers! That way if it is on the warmer side, or cooler side you are covered!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! However we completely understand. If you are unable to attend, please complete and send back your RSVP card that came with your invitation with a “No” answer.

How will I get to the venue from the hotel?

Answer

There are, unfortunately, no shuttle services at the hotels. However, never fear! Des Moines is a very easy city to navigate. The venue is a very short car ride from both hotels, and has a large parking lot to accommodate vehicles. Ubers also tend to be incredibly cheap, considering it is such a short ride.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Those of you who know Kelsey, know she is a sucker for a schedule. We are planning on starting the ceremony at 4:30pm. We recommend arriving to the venue 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, so you have plenty of time to sign the guest book, grab a drink, and get settled in.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please have RSVPs returned via the enclosed envelope no later than Friday, October 7, 2022. We will need to give final head counts to our vendors shortly following.
