Frequently Asked Questions

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Anytime before or on November 1st, 2019! Please RSVP on this website with your joyous acceptance or regretful declination. You will be asked to enter your first and last name in order to unlock your personal RSVP page.

Question

Can I bring a date or plus one?

Answer

Please refer to the written number of reserved seats on your physical invitation. If a "1" is indicated, that seat is reserved for only yourself. If there is a "2", you may bring one guest. Please make sure to enter the full first and last name of your guest in the RSVP on this website for seating purposes.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, our venue has limited seating and we have many guests arriving from both near and afar, including yourself. So we kindly ask you to let your children — if any, including the furry ones :( — stay at home. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have chosen not to register gifts at any location for logistical purposes. But if we are honored with a present, a monetary gift would be truly appreciated. Please visit the Registry page on this website for more information on how to give your gift online. Thank you!

Question

May I bring my monetary gift in-person to the wedding?

Answer

Of course! We are using this website to make online monetary gift-giving a smooth process. (Please visit the RSVP page.) But if you decide to bring your gift in-person at the wedding, we will have a specified box and/or table at the venue where one can drop off gifts :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Since our wedding day is near winter solstice (AKA the shortest day of the year), the sun will set at 5:30 PM EST. Therefore, please try to arrive and take your seats at least 15-30 minutes before 5:00 PM EST so we can promptly begin the ceremony.

Question

Is there parking for the wedding ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes, and it is FREE! Feel free to park anywhere in the provided parking lot near the museum entrance. Also, using a ride-share service such as Uber or Lyft to arrive at/leave the venue is highly recommended for our bibulous attendees — oh, you know who you are.
