The Boys

Our Story One drunken night back in 2021, the boys decided to host a new kind of event: a Jubilee, once a semester, in which the strict “no-girls” rule was lifted for one night. They really did it as a joke, so they were amazed when the reception was extremely positive, and they received requests for more “Women Approach” events. The event became a serial, and they hosted a new “Women Approach” event per semester. After a hiatus during 2023, they have decided to revive the event for their fifth “Women Approach,” and the first at Brideshead. Accordingly, they have named it “Women Approach: ReVisited.” The motto of the event is “Girls’ Night, brought to you by Boys’ Night.” It is a night where all the based women we know get to have a mixer among themselves, fully catered by the local boys. We understand the importance of gatherings with one’s own, so we want to offer an opportunity to mix and mingle with the other women of Notre Dame/South Bend, on us. We look forward to having you!

James Whitaker

Bartender

James Whitaker is one of the founding members of Boys' Night. Their Sunday evening gatherings have always been hosted at his house. He is happy now to live with the boys, and he brings his bartending abilities to everything he hosts.

Paul Howard

Homeowner

Paul Howard is the most recent addition to the Boys and now officially the host of all their events. Although he has yet to experience the grit of one of their five-hour board games, he brings a certain refinement and je-ne-sais-quoi to their gatherings.

Solomon Duane

House Pianist

Solomon Duane is one of the founding members of Boys' Night. The moving force behind many of their wilder parties, such as the Solomon Party, Solomon continues to be the main photographer of their shenanigans.

Michael McHugh

He's here too!

Michael McHugh has been a recurring guest to Boys' Night in years past, but now that he's moved to the South Bend area, he has joined the main cast. Arguably the sweetheart of the boys, his favorite animal is the turtle.

Nick Ramirez

Resident Thomist

Nick Ramirez returns for his second season with the boys, making a big name for himself as a hotshot rookie in 2023. One of his favorite drinks is the Aperol Sour; let him know if you like it!
