Getting to Courtenay/ Hornby is a little bit complicated so I will do my best to outline the process once you arrive in Vancouver. The first part of the trip requires you to take ferry from Van port to get to Nanaimo (city on Vancouver Island), and then to get a car from Nanaimo to Buckley Bay where the ferry to Hornby leaves from, or Courtenay where John's town house is. (Comox is in Courtenay). From Buckley Bay you get a ferry to Denman Island, and drive across Denman Island to get the ferry to Hornby (final destination). We think: for Saturday the 25th we are staying in Courtenay then will head to Hornby on Sunday the 26th. We are working with Jackie's family to figure out how we will manage this (Jackie's brother will be able to help out as he is living in Van City and will be traveling at a similar time. For Susan Conor and Frank, we will arrange for you all to be picked up by boat the night you arrive at Comox and we can go straight to Hornby (20 minutes).
For all the days along the way
