Question

DO I NEED TO RSVP?

Answer

Yes! Besides showing up this is the most important thing you need to do as a guest, this lets us know not only that you plan to come but also what food choice you would like. Please RSVP by the card given with the invitation or by text to Georgia at (517) 588-8801 or Paul at (517) 648-3154 by August 1st 2023.

Question

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Answer

Great question! We ask that each guest dress in their Sunday best! For us, this means we would not like to see guests in jeans, shorts, or flip-flops. Ladies, please keep in mind that you will be walking in grass and dirt when picking shoes for the wedding.

Question

ARE KIDS ALLOWED?

Answer

We love kids, but often weddings can be boring for children. Because of this, we ask that our wedding be an adult-only event.

Question

CAN I STAY AT THE VENUE?

Answer

Yes! When we were hunting for a venue we wanted to find one that could accommodate our guests in many ways. One deciding factor on our venue was that up to 70 of our guests could stay on-site with us for no cost to the guests! These accommodations are rustic summer camp-style communal bunkhouses. Meaning if you'd like to stay you'll be crashing summer camp style, in a bunk bed in a shared room with the bathroom down the hall. If you'd like to stay please click the view button on the travel page Also please remember to bring twin-sized bedding. We would love it if you would stay with us on-site the night of the wedding but we also realize this may be outside some guest's comfort zone so please visit the accommodations tabs to view some nearby hotels. https://forms.gle/qaWyoLLnZ2xJo63Y6

Question

ARE THERE OTHER WEEKEND ACTIVITIES?

Answer

The weekend of the wedding will be a busy one. Friday is for setting up, so we ask guests to not arrive to the venue on Friday. Saturday morning the bridal party will be getting around and vendors will be arriving. If you plan to stay the night with us Saturday you are welcome to arrive early to claim your bed and get accommodated with the venue, we ask you do not arrive any earlier than 2:00 PM and please reframe from entering the reception hall before the reception and please reframe from entering the bridal party cabins where the bridal party will be very busy getting ready. Saturday afternoon we will celebrate our love surrounded by all of our guests on a hill overlooking Chenango lake. We will then celebrate with food, drinks, and dancing! Later in the night enjoy a firework show over the lake and finish the night off with some smores around the campfire at the after-party. Sunday will be for cleanup but for those who stay the night breakfast will be served in the dining hall.

Question

WHAT IF I HAVE AN ALLERGY OR DIETARY RESTRICICTION?

Answer

Please reach out to the bride or groom if you are worried about an allergy or dietary restriction. The meal will consist of rolls and Ceasar salad, followed by your choice of steak, shrimp skewers, or vegetarian seven cheese lasagna, each served with asparagus. If you are concerned about these options due to an allergy or dietary restriction please let us know and we will work with our caterer to make sure you get a meal you can eat!

Question

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

Your RSVP card will state how many seats are reserved for you and for a possible date. Due to limited spacing we are unable to accommodate for any extra guest not listed on your RSVP.
