Travel Note
We have not been able to secure any official hotel block for the week due to the Chicago marathon occurring on Sunday Oct 11th. Hotels were not providing the option to block rooms. The city will be very busy and many hotels will be full and/or charging outrageous prices. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause guests and wanted everyone to know we were not aware of this event when choosing wedding dates (oopsie). We highly recommend browsing Airbnb, VRBO, and any other vacation rental sites you like; many of these options are cheaper than hotels. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us for assistance with bookings for lodging- we would be happy to help! We know the neighborhoods quite well and can make meaningful suggestions for spots to look and provide info regarding convenience of travel to the venue. It may also be helpful to look close to Rosemont for hotels. This is outside the city but very close to O’hare.

O’Hare and our wedding venue Salon 61 are approximately 22 minutes apart without traffic. This airport is approximately 16 minutes from the hotel option we provided. It is also accessible via the CTA Blue line.

Midway is approximately 22 minutes from our venue Salon 61 by car. This airport is approximately 20 minutes by car from the hotel option provided. It is also accessible via the CTA Orange line.
