We're Getting Married!!!

Paul and Danielle "met" on May 18th, 2016 (exactly 3 years from the Wedding Date)! Long story short - they met thanks to Facebook!! On a Monday morning in May of 2016 Danielle was working from a Starbucks down the street from her apartment in San Francisco when she got sidetracked and started (admittedly) stalking a friends' (bridesmaid - Brooke) facebook. Amidst the stalking she came across a picture of Brooke and her friends at a wedding (shout out to Brent and Anna, thank you for getting married). On one side of Brooke was her husband (groomsman - Jason) and on her other side was a 'stranger' who caught Danielle's eye. Yes, its true, it's hard to miss Paul in a crowd - but there was something about the tall man in the picture that sparked a stronger attraction then usual for Danielle. After a littttlee bit of diving in to Paul's facebook page (...and instagram...) to initially confirm that he was single, Danielle decided to step FAR out of her comfort zone and reach out to Brooke to see what his story was. According to Brooke - He was single and he's the best! And she would set it up! (despite the fact that Danielle was living in SF and Paul was in LA) Two days later (May 18th) Danielle got a text message from Paul and the rest is history - not a day has gone by that they haven't talked!

Paul proposed to Danielle on March 2nd, 2018 on the rooftop of the Restoration Hardware in West Hollywood - one of Paul and Danielle's very favorite hidden-gem spots to bring lunch/work/relax. The day Paul had planned to propose to Danielle happened to be one of the few and far between rainy days in LA so Paul's mid-day plan to have them "bring lunch and work" from RH on that rainy Friday seemed ridiculous to Danielle but Paul was insistent that it would be fine. They headed out to Hollywood, picked up lunch (which came out wrong so very nervous Paul had to go back in to get it fixed) and then off to RH. It was still pouring when they pulled up to RH so it took quite a bit of convincing to get a complaining Danielle to go up the 3 flights of stairs to head out to the roof to have lunch under the "awning". Once Paul finally got Danielle up to the roof she knew something must be going on as Paul is not typically such an insistent person (unless sports are somehow involved). Paul took her hands walked her out to a beautiful setting and said "You can't predict the weather just like you can't predict the journey of life, all I know is I want you by my side for it all" he then got down on one knee in the rain and asked Danielle to marry him (She said YES)! Paul had set it up with RH to have people photograph the proposal, had champagne on ice and truly made it the perfect day. To top it off, Paul had planned to have Danielle's parents fly down for a surprise engagement dinner with his parents and then later that night Paul had arranged for about 30 friends surprise them at a bar to continue the celebration!
