Our very first date took place here. We hiked for hours on both the Maryland and Virginia side until it became dark and the park closed! 3 years later and Paul proposed here!
Paul and I walked all over here when we first started dating. We had so much to talk about that there was never a mile of silence. I learned early on to wear my good walking shoes when I was headed out on a date with Paul. Along the Mall are the Smithsonian museums which are always so good and better yet, free!
We went here on one of our first dates. At the crack of dawn we came to this charming breakfast place, ate some waffles, drank some hot chocolate, and then watched the sunrise over the Lincoln Memorial. D.C. holds a special place in our hearts because our first year of dating consisted of many adventures in this beautiful city.
Outdoor shopping mall located about 7.1 miles from The Woodlands full of boutiques, ice-cream, The Alamo, iFLY, TopGolf and more!
If you don't feel like making the trip to D.C's Air and Space Museum, you can explore Dulles' own just 14 miles from The Woodlands. Home of the space shuttle Discovery, you can also view planes flying into Dulles Airport from an observation tower while enjoying some dehydrated space ice cream (our favorite).
