How We Met! Athena- "We met at the ROT Rally on a Sat morning. Paul was walking up and down the rows and could have taken a left but he went RIGHT! ( in more ways than one) As he was walking by, I dropped the best "one-liner" I could think of. It must have been a good one because we spent the entire day together. The next day too and every weekend after. Paul- "Taking that RIGHT, changed my LIFE!" The Proposal Nov 28th 2019 Athena- We spent Thanksgiving with my family. Later in the afternoon Paul said " come outside I want to talk to you". He had the most serious expression on his face that actually made me feel worried. You know how families can be lol. As soon as I sat on the porch, he says "I have a question to ask you" and whips open the ring box. I was so shocked that all I could say was I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ASKED ME TO MARRY YOU!!!! I must have said this for about 10 minutes until he asked..."is that a yes?" Then my momma pops her head out and says "Athena! Did you say YES already? LOL "Hurry up and join the fam so we can celebrate!! What I didn't know- Paul asked every family member for permission to marry me!!!!!!
