Alexis' version - We met through an online dating app and I was at the point where I was tired of the whole online dating thing. When I came across Paul I thought he was handsome, tall (which was a plus for me!!) and kind. There was something about him that made me feel like I had known him for years. We connected right from the first date and a few months after we had been dating, I accidently dropped a ring with my birthstone on it down the toliet. He ended up finding someone to come and help and eventually got it out of the drain which was a miracle. I knew from then on we were meant to be! Paul's version - Here I was minding my own business when I recieved a message on a new dating app that all my coworkers at the bar I was working at convinced me to get. I got so used to my life of solitude work and raising my daughter that I thought maybe I should just delete this app and go about my way. After some thought I decided that maybe I should live a little and message back. I figured nothing will come from this anyway. Ohhhh boy was I wrong. After years together, I can no longer picture my life without her and I now look forward to all the ups and downs to come.
