We’re getting married!

I had just returned to work for Wegmans in the Meat department at the Leesburg location the beginning of 2019. That is where I met a quiet shy Alex who worked in the back making ready to cook meals. Upon introducing myself, it was very apparent that she was not interested in making conversation with me. I didn't let that stop me from continuing to get to know her. We even began playing a daily game at work, which consisted of throwing balls made out of plastic at each other. Nine months later she finally let me take her out on our first date, we became pretty inseparable after that. I knew before we had even gone on that date, that this girl was special, and a wonderful future could be had together.

On Halloween of 2021, Alex and I went hiking in Harpers Ferry. I brought my Digital SLR to get some good fall pictures of ourselves. We went up to Jeffersons rock, it's a very scenic spot in Harpers Ferry. I set up my tripod and camera. After a couple test runs to make sure it was going to look decent, I set the camera to continuous shot mode. I then ran over to Alex and dropped to my knee, and she began bawling and the camera kept firing away. A truly magical moment, in a beautiful place, with my beautiful girl who said yes!
