Timing is everything with our love story~ Paul and Alee were friends in college, and enjoyed lounging together on his Sigma Nu couch as they watched movies and hung out with friends. As college ended, they went their separate ways, but would reunite a few years later at Old Town Pour House. Alee saw that tall drink of water from across the bar, and quickly worked her way over to him to say hello. That night turned into a weekend of hanging out- on Saturday, Paul cooked a nice steak dinner for Alee and impressed her with his 5 lb bag of watermelon sour patch kids, and on Sunday they watched the new episode of Game of Thrones. Their relationship slowly grew over time, it was a wonderful "slow burn," and they did not rush anything, enjoying each moment and new step as it came along. On August 8th, 2023, after 9 years of dating, Paul asked Alee to marry him at Avalanche Lake in National Glacier Park. They celebrated by popping open a bottle of champagne and putting icy-hot all over their sore hiking legs...it was the perfect day!
