Travel Note
October is a great time to travel to Cartagena. Because of that, hotels book up FAST. Also, wear LOTS of sunscreen. Cartagena sits smack in the middle of the Equator line so the sun will be in its full force while there (even if it's fall in the Northern Hemisphere of the world).
Flight
We recommend booking your flights as soon as possible. Cartagena's airport is the Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG), and Bogota's is El Dorado International Airport (BOG). There's lots of direct flights to both airports from major cities, so we're hoping travel will be as painless as possible.
