Exploring Downtown Nevada City
There are many local shops and restaurants to explore in historic downtown Nevada City. You can spend hours poking around different shops and walking through downtown.
Deer Creek Tribute Trail
One of our personal favorites! A gorgeous 3 mile trail you can walk to directly from town.
Cascade Canal Trail
Another popular trail that is flat, along a canal in the trees, with gorgeous views of Tahoe. You can go as far as you like but trail extends to 8 miles.
Pioneer Trail
Lovely trail directly across from the wedding venue that spans 16 miles including multiple shorter loops through the Tahoe National Forest.

- Approximately one hour away - Riverfront historic district, with Gold Rush-era buildings, horse-drawn carriages, museums, and train rides. - A great family-friendly spot
