Therefore, we want you to be aware that Galena, Illinois is about a 2.5hr-3hr drive from O'hare international airport and Chicago Midway international airport. If you are flying in from out of town, you could consider flying into Quad Cities International Airport in Moline, Illinois or one of the airports in Iowa (DBQ & CID) or Wisconsin (MSN) that may have shorter travel times.
