The Philippines during this time of the year (January) on average is in the 80s. It can sometimes reach up to 90, and at night can dip down to the mid 70s. In Tagaytay it will be a lot breezier because we will be in the mountains. If you get chilly please bring a light sweater or jacket. In January it also rains roughly 1 out of 4 days so please plan accordingly.
PLEASE BRING: Insect repellent, sun screen, a hat and/or sunglasses, a hand fan if you get hot easily, a light sweater or jacket, locks for all luggage, water proof cases for important items, clothing you're willing to get dirty, bring a coin purse for Philippine pesos, and make sure your possessions can easily be secured to your person so that it won't be stolen. PLEASE NOTE: The Philippines have the same outlet types as the US at a higher voltage (220 volts). Many modern devices can handle 220 volts, but you may want to consider purchasing a voltage adapter if you have older devices. DON'T BRING: Expensive/branded clothing or bags and a lot of cash on your person.

This is a semi formal event! No need for a full suit or floor length dress but please no shorts and graphic tees. Barong tagalogs are fine for men. Mainly as long as no one dresses like the bride or groom there will be no issues. If you dress like the bride I will throw you out. We will be on a mountain side, so ladies if you plan on wearing heels make sure they are a thicker heel. Feel free to bring a change of shoes for dancing! Colors for this wedding are light blue, light pink, light purple, and gold. Feel free to wear these colors if you'd like to match our theme!
