FAQs

Question

eVisa process

Answer

Hello friends, the eVisa process is very simple (very different from a US visa may I say). All you gotta do is go on this website https://brazil.vfsevisa.com, fill out the application and have some passport photos in hand. The fee is about $85 and it’s recommended to do this at least a month before the trip. Once you receive an email saying it’s approved, you should print the approval page and bring it to the airport ✨

Question

How to get to the venue from the airport?

Answer

The closest airport will be Aeroporto International de Confins (CNF), you can either take an uber to the venue but I’d recommend renting a car (it would be a lot cheaper) and the drive to the venue should be around 1:30 hours. Rental car company suggested is Movida Aluguel de Carros.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommendations.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the venue.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by 04/30 so we can plan accordingly!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Question

Can I take an Uber from the airport to the venue?

Answer

YES, and it would only cost about $50 if you prefer to not drive.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is black tie. For women, this means a long evening gown, and for men, a suit and tie are appropriate.

Question

Will there be a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

No, since it’s a destination wedding for everyone I don’t want anyone to feel obligated to arrive even earlier than the wedding date so we have decided to not have a rehearsal dinner.
