With the vast number of people who we come in contact with in our lives, the concept of finding your soulmate can seem overwhelming. However, sometimes the universe works in mysterious ways and the right people come into your life at the perfect moment. We matched on a dating app through shear chance and began messaging back and forth for a few months. Paula played hard to get while I tried to send her funny memes and jokes. After Paula traveled to the Dominican Republic for a medical service trip, the sun cooked her brain and she finally said yes to a date at Chipotle! -Graham One date quickly turned into two, and two dates shortly turned into three! After a month and a half of seeing each other, Graham decided to finally ask me to be his girlfriend on 09/26/2017 and we made it "Facebook official." After three years of enjoying life together, and with a little encouragement, Graham FINALLY proposed!! On Saturday 09/12/2020, Graham and I had planned to go hiking up Spruce Mountain with our dog (Koda) to view the fall foliage from the fire tower. We packed our backpacks with Stewart's sandwiches, snacks, and some drinks before heading up the trailhead to enjoy lunch on the warm fall day. When hiking up the fire tower (which required us to boost Koda into the viewing lookout) and upon taking the beautiful view of the fall foliage, I turned around to see Graham on one knee asking me to marry him. -Paula

As we approach our 5 year anniversary this fall, there are many memories we can reminisce on and more memories to make ahead. We cannot wait to celebrate with you and we are so thankful that you are in our lives!
