Florida. August 2003. It was a Tuesday night at Orange Bowl Lanes- the first fall season game for the Fil-Am bowling league. Neither of us planned to be there that night, but fate had other plans. Paul, a longstanding league member, had decided to sit this season out. However, a reminder to collect his prize from the previous season brought him there that night. Meanwhile, Donna was persuaded by a coworker to go to the bowling alley (to help sell items for a school fundraiser). Donna's bosses, who were also league members, had been inviting Donna to join their bowling league for some time, so this was the perfect opportunity to check it out for herself. So there was Paul... hanging out with his friends- having what he thought was another typical Tuesday night. Until Donna walks into the bowling alley (and into Paul's heart). At that moment, it was love at first sight for Paul. Soon after, he found out that Donna was joining his old team. Can you guess who decided to bowl that fall season after all? And the rest... well, the rest is history.

If you do the math, you might realize that ours was a whirlwind kind of love story. We met in August, started a relationship in October, got engaged in December, and were married by January the following year. Yup! Our story is the stuff of novels. At the rate that we were going, we knew a big wedding was out of the question. So with our immediate family in tow, we got married at the local courthouse and proceeded to enjoy a wonderful breakfast at the Cracker Barrel. We really went all out the first time around. LOL! Fast-forward 18 years later, we are finally having the wedding we've always wanted- or at least Donna says we've always wanted it. LOL! So we're pulling out all the stops and incorporating everything a traditional wedding would have- down to a whole entourage! This is our big day... 18 years in the making, and we're so blessed that you are all part of our story.
