We're Getting Married!

It all started seven years ago at Howard High School. Paul and I met through mutual friends. One night Paul texted me and asked If I wanted to go on a date and the rest was history! Our first date we went to eat Mexican at Margarita's on Bass Road in Macon, then we went to look at Christmas lights. We actually remember what each other wore on this first date and our exact orders at dinner :) Paul and I love to go to dinner at Margarita's to remember where it all began.

After traveling home from Philadelphia to visit Paul's family for Christmas we went to a cabin in Elijay, GA with our close friends to celebrate New Year's. We were all outside enjoying the bonfire and the mountain views. While in the middle of taking a picture Paul gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him! Of course, I start crying (really ugly crying by the way...) He put the ring on my finger and gave me so many kisses :) It was absolutely perfect! Turns out, Paul had this planned for months and months. He had the surprise all planned out. He asked for my parents permission and told his family weeks before! It was the greatest surprise and the most special birthday present ever :) We immediately called our parents to tell them the good news and they were so glad to no longer keep this huge secret anymore!
